Annelore (Anne) Slater 4/14/1918 - 5/5/2012 Devoted wife and partner to late internationalist Joseph E. Slater, long-term President of the Aspen Institute. An advocate for social justice and the arts, Anne was opinionated but open-minded. Her gregariousness and sense of humor made her the friend of many and the life of every gathering. She outlived the Depression, Holocaust, Cold War and daily side of bacon. Mother of Bonnie (late) and Sandra, four grandchildren (plus countless others who called her grandma) and three great grandchildren, all who carry on her fight for social justice and curiosity. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to scholarship fund at 1001 Emerson St, Palo Alto, CA 94301.
