January 16, 1951 - July 15, 2015
Tony was a man with high energy and deep commitment to his pursuits, whether playing his guitar, flying hang gliders, building a recording studio, earning his PhD in Physics from UCLA, cooking, or sailing on San Francisco Bay. Born in Glendale, Calif., he attended University High School in West Los Angeles, then earned BS, MS and doctorate degrees before moving to the Bay Area. He is survived by his former wife, Dr. Julie Parsonnet, and their daughter Lauren. Tony's fight with cancer was brave and fierce till the end.
