He is survived by is wife Penelope Vorster of Port Townsend, WA; two children by a previous marriage Karen Vorster of Richmond, CA, and Vince Vorster and two grandchildren Ryan and Logan of Discovery Bay, CA; and his brother Barend Vorster Jr. of South Africa.

I never really got to know my Grandfather, I was only 8 when he passed, that and he was in Washington and didn't travel much when I was born. I just wish I got to know him better.
It just feels strange since my grandma Penny died in 2021 after battling ALS, and my Grammy, Martha passed earlier this year in late March.
