Attilio Quartaroli

Attilio Joseph Quartaroli March 18, 1924-October 8, 2011 Attilio "Til" Quartaroli passed away October 8, 2011 at his home in Buckingham Park, California. He is survived by Edith, his beloved wife of 65 years, his daughter, Argene Giorgi, his grandson, Ryan Nelson and his wife Cheryl, and his cousins Agostino Banti and Ben Antolini. A resident of Kelseyville, CA. and Indian Wells, CA. Til was born in San Francisco (Cow Hollow), the son of Argene and Joseph Quartaroli, Italian immigrants from Lucca, Italy. Til was a graduate of Galileo High School class of 1942. He served in the United States Navy during World War II on the Jack W. Wilke (DE-800) in the Atlantic Theatre. On August 18, 1946, Til married his love, Edith Giorgi. He was owner of A. Quartaroli Painting and Decorating until the early 1970's. Along with Edith, they started the Olive Ridge Tennis Club in Novato, Ca. Til and Edith loved and excelled in entertaining their many friends with good food, wine, laughter and memorable stories. Til was an avid sport's enthusiast. He enjoyed all water activities, including boating and water skiing, particularly with his 1958 Chris Craft, "Seame". A private memorial service will be held in the future.
