I have fond memories of Barb. My husband & I made candy in WI & Barb was sent some. She wrote to me to tell me how wonderful it was, we wrote back & forth or sometime, whenever we saw each other after that she would mention that candy.. I believe she also did some painting. Following in our Grandmothers footsteps. Whenever I think of her I smile. She was a warm & gentle Soul. I am so sad to here of her passing. My sincere condolences to Gerry and my cousins.

Barbara and Gerry took our family under their wings at the top of Mt Tamalpais one weekend many years ago. We were four very thirsty girls with tired parents in tow, when they served us the best tasting lemonaide that money could buy. Gerry started up a conversation, as he will tend to do, and the next thing we knew we were members of West Point Inn and Barbara was teaching us how to serve lemonaide. Our family has shared many special moments with Barbara and Gerry on and off Mt. Tamalpais since those first glasses of lemonaide, and Barbara will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Some of my greatest childhood memories are when Aunt Barb and Uncle Gerry would come home to Wisconsin to visit. They just always seemed to love the company of all us kids. They always had stories to tell of places they'd been and things they'd seen. My dad and Aunt Barb's love for birds has been passed on to me. Aunt Barb, everytime I see one at the feeder or hear the birds song, I will think of you and dad in Heaven together, walking through the Lord's garden admiring his birds. Can't wait to meet you both there one day :)

Dear Gerry,
I was so saddened to learn of Barb's sudden passing. She was one of my mom's best high school friends. I was honored that she continued that friendship with me. I have remembered her in my nightly rosary and will never forget her kindness, faith and friendship. I am praying for you Gerry in this time of sorrow.
