Barbara Barbaria passed away on May 6th in San Francisco, at the age of 57. Beloved cherished daughter of the late Frank and Phyllis Barbaria and survived by her devoted, adoring Brother Brian Barbaria. Survived and loved by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents. A graduate of Most Holy Redeemer Grammar School, Mercy High School and a native San Franciscan who loved "the city by the bay".
Barbara was a kind, sweet and beautiful soul totally devoted to her family and animals. She was dedicated to peace and harmony in the world. Barbara will be terribly missed by those who loved and respected her. She had an uplifting, joyful and beautiful presence matched by a genuine and lovely smile reflective of a most loving heart.
Barbara was a daily source of goodness, sweetness, kindness and love, who was inspirational in so many ways.

Brian, my condolences on the loss of your dear sister. I was a grammar schools classmate of hers, from Most Holy Redeemer. I can still remember her beautiful writings and short stories-she was truly gifted. And yes I can still remember her smiling face as we ran around and played in the schoolyard. It was an honor to have known her.
Sincerely,
Sandi (Amezcua) Olson

I had the pleasure of knowing Barbara from my Most Holy Redeemer Days to the present. She never uttered an angry word. Brian's little sister was always pleasant and always greeted you with a smile. She unselfishly took care of her family and asked for nothing in return. A better person would be hard to find. She will be greatly missed.
