My condolences to the family for the loss of your dear one. Mrs. Bradley took many of us in our young twenties under her wing, teaching us to become better artists, to pay attention to details, to take on jobs step-by-step, and to look for the poetry in drawing. She mothered those of us away from home and new to San Francisco, showing us the sights as we drew in the Cable Car Barn, in a courtroom, at SF Conservatory and the SF Zoo, in the Maritime Museum and Spaghetti Factory, etc. She made us move beyond the trivial and personal, allowing us to see what the Art Director or viewer would see in our illustrations. We ALL lost a wonderful woman...but we ALL will carry her memory forward. Know that she will truly "go on"...what she taught us will be passed on now to those we reach and teach with our art, our professional ethics and those "Mrs. Bradley Sayings." She did her life's work perfectly and loved us beautifully.

I did not know this wonderful woman but read her obituary in the Times.
It struck a chord with me as a writer.
She sure sounded special. I wish that I did know her.and am going to buy her book and looking foward to it.
Best, Barbara Joan Grubman
