After a long battle with an atypical brain tumor, Bassem Moussa passed peacefully in his sleep at home with his family in San Anselmo, Marin County. Born in Nablus, Palestine and raised in Cairo, Egypt, Bassem led a life of adventure, laughter and intrigue. Dr. Moussa was one of the first Palestinian dentists to establish a private practice in San Francisco and was an Examiner for the Dental Board of California. He was a gentleman and a jokester; a dedicated father and brother, and a genuine and generous friend. We will celebrate his life in a memorial at St. Hilary's Church - 761 Hilary Drive, Tiburon, CA on Saturday, January 23 at 11:00 a.m.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

Sharing your loss in the passing of Bassem. Bassem was a classmate, an encouraging friend and brother to my dear sister, Laila.
We will always remember his caring nature, his love for his family and friends, his wit and his quick sense of humour.
Our comfort is that he is now in the presence of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ where there is no more pain but rejoicing.
Our condolences to Serene, Shady, Laila, Samir and Mufeed.
