Bernice T. (Lindy) Roggensack

Our beloved stepmother, grandmother & great-grandmother passed away peacefully at Country Manor of Samarita Village in Hughson, CA at the age of 101. She was born in Richmond, MN. The fourth child of 12 children. She lived in South San Francisco for 61 years. She belonged to many women Veteran Axillaries along with her husband, Clarence Roggensack a Purple Heart, WWII Veteran. They spent many years putting out the flags at the Golden Gate National Cemetery in San Bruno. They belonged to Good Sam Travel Club for 27 years and the South San Francisco Senior Citizens. Lindy volunteered many years at the lighthouse for the blind transcribing books. Lindy was a loving stepmother to Carol (Richard) Estes, Johnny (Marty) Thomas; loving grandmother of Lora (Britt) Wells, Darren (Cindy) Estes and Brett Estes. Great-grand-mother of Cherise, Heather, Brandon and Ian and great-great grandmother of Colton & Rhett. Sister of Leo & Raymond Leyendecker and the late Matt, Richard, Norman, Paul, Elmer, Ralph, Agnes Marjorie and Pauline. The loving wife of 57 years to the late Clarence Roggensack. Lindy will be greatly missed by her family.
Friends may visit after 1pm, Wed., Sept 26th Garden Chapel, 885 El Camino Real, So.SF where a Liturgy Service will be held at 2pm. Contributions may be made in memory of Bernice T.
