Bonnie Pardini Obituary

Bonnie Pardini
09/05/1934 - 01/23/2025
Bonnie Staker Pardini passed away peacefully at home in Foster City on 1/23/2025 surrounded by her family. She was 90 years old.
Born in Idaho Falls, Idaho on September 5, 1934 to Beth and Glen Staker. She spent her early years growing up in Ogden, Utah and worked in her parents dry cleaning and tailoring business- The Kiesel Tailor Shop.
At 19 she moved to San Francisco, traveling by train from Ogden, Utah to Oakland, California and then by ferry to the city. Bonnie was full of life and had a blast exploring her new City by the Bay. A year later she met Fred at a dance in Russian River, fell in love, and had two daughters, Kim and Kari.
Bonnie and Fred loved to travel and explore the world. They loved going out and always had a busy social life. Her life was well lived.
Bonnie is survived by her husband of 69 years, Fred Pardini, her daughter Kim Pardini-Kiely, son-in law Matthew Kiely, her younger daughter Kari Rose Toomey and her beloved granddaughters Kate Kiely M.D. and her husband Marshall, and Gina Kiely R.N.
A celebration of her life is planned for Sunday, March 16, 2025, from 2-5 p.m., at the Peninsula Jewish Community Center in Foster City, CA. In lieu of flowers the family wishes for donations to be to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Freddie and family: I just learned, today, of Bonnie´s passing. I have thought about you both several times, over the years, and how much fun Bob and I used to have going out in the city with you both. I am so sorry.

The sun will never shine as brightly since you are no longer here to make it want to do just that. But the memories of our friendship will always shine brightly and bring a smile to all who knew and loved you.
Our deepest sympathy to Freddie and family. You will always be in our hearts.

Please accept my sympathies to the family. Bonnie took a class from me at the PJCC and always came up to me and thanked me for the class. I couldn’t believe when she told me that one one day was her birthday as we all wished her happy birthday that day in class . She was definitely energetic and had a great Positive attitude.

Always cheerful and fun. We did chair yoga together and enjoyed our friendship as neighbors and fellowship.

Bonnie was one-of-a-kind. She was a wonderful, fun-loving friend who was always up for a good time. I will cherish the many years of fond memories and laughter we shared. Love to her beloved Freddie, Kari, Kim and Matt and to her many friends. Bonnie will certainly be missed but the many stories we all have will live on.
