Born in San Francisco to his loving parents, Patrick and Geraldine Burke, Brendan was the younger brother of Brian and the older brother of Jennifer. He was the brother-in-law of Katie Burke, and uncle of Riley and Reagan. Brendan was the beloved grandson of Dermot and Christine Loftus, and John and Kathleen Burke, and the proud Godson of Dave Loftus and Mary Gowrky.
Brendan attended St. Cecilia's School and Sacred Heart Cathedral, where his natural athleticism and competitive spirit shone. A passionate sports fan, he loved supporting the 49ers, Warriors, and Giants. He was also an avid fisherman who found peace in the outdoors.
Brendan will be remembered for his kind and loving heart, his outgoing personality, and his unwavering loyalty to family and friends. He had a rare gift for making lasting friendships and was fiercely protective of those he loved.
The family deeply appreciates the love, support, and kindness so many have shown during this difficult time.
All are invited to attend the funeral services on Wednesday, November 5th at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Loretto Catholic Church in Novato, followed by the Interment at Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery in San Rafael. Services under the direction of DUGGAN'S FUNERAL SERVICE - THE DUGGAN WELCH FAMILY in San Francisco. Charitable donations in Brendan's memory may be sent to the charity of your choice, and are preferred.

My hear breaks hearing about Brendan´s passing. He was such a wonderful person and my fondest memory of Brendan is making him laugh. He was that type of person that when you could make him laugh it just filled the room. He was a good person and i will always remember him as a fun 16yr old boy. Bless him and all of the Burke´s.
