Rest in Peace Brett! I remember one day that we where on the dock together and we had time to kill before we had to put any cones on. You brought some crab with you and you offered me some to eat. It was a funny moment because you had nothing to crack the crab with but your teeth. Anyways, you will be missed from all your friends on the waterfront! My condolences to your family! God bless you Brett for eternity bro!!!

BRETT!!! You will truly be missed by all. You were a true friend and coach to have come across in both my son and I life; and someone who we both have grown to love and respect. You were someone who had a story to tell for something around the house and in life, and I would always be the one stuck listening to your stories from beginning to end - LOL. Your welcoming charm when you had family/friends over showed how much you were as a family man and a one of a kind and unique individual and story teller that would have your walking away with a smile. What I mostly going to miss about you is you making sure I was comfortable with making sure you had enough firewood for the fireplace so that I would warm; and also your over-rated excitement with getting your Xmas tree during the Thanksgiving weekend (or shortly afterwards) along with the decorating of the house (both inside/out).
Your trait of love and respect from both friends and family were touched by so many and will continue to be carry on by (Fatima, Lil Brett, Braelyn, Reni, Tiffany and Grandpa) extended family and friends. I’m sure you will continue to look down on us all, and when I hear a depth of silence with a little whisper in the air I will know it’s you telling a story of the Heavens and what God has plan for all of us.
Love you always,
Chaz and Lil Joe

RIP Brett! I am sorry to hear of your passing but now you are in a better place. You were a hell of a basketball player and someone I really enjoyed competing with and against, from the Excelsior courts to the hardwood at Kezar in the SI/SH games. No doubt you always showed up to play and win. Off the court you were a cool cat and someone I enjoyed talking to about the old school or our 49ers and Giants. God Bless!!

Our deepest sympathy to the Rasso family on this tremendous loss. Dorothy (GM) and I were in the same waiting room awaiting for your arrival on Easter Sunday 1973. My niece was born and you, the Easter babies at SLH. It wasn't until 4 years later that we reconnected with your mom, Marsha, and discovered that story. I have known you through your grandmother's, mom's and Aunt Jen's eyes (we ended up working together for Dr. Bohannon). They loved you deeply and always told wonderful stories of your life and your children. I did meet you and get to know you a bit. I know that you will be deeply missed by your loved ones but you will always be in their hearts.

Brett, My dear friend, Although I love to write, I am struggling to find the right words at this moment. I will never forget the times we shared together during the years at Excelsior Park, Monroe Schoolyard, Diane's stairs(lol), and of coarse the Sacred Heart dance! You have touched so many of us, each in different ways. Your eyes had a beautiful light that shinned behind them, and I see that light shinning withing your beautiful children. May you now be able to watch over us all, while your resting where no shadows fall loved and remembered by us all. I'll never forget you, thank you for being a part of my life dear friend. Until we meet again, Jeanine.....

Brett, You touched so many peoples lives in all different ways. I'll never forget the times we shared together hanging out at Excelsior Park, Monroe schoolyard, Diane's stairs, and especially the Sacred Heart dance. Those memories will forever remain in my heart. There are not enough words to describe the way I feel right now. They say God takes the best, and at this moment, I believe that is true.Resting where no shadows fall loved and remembered by us all! you will be forever loved, always missed, and most importantly never forgotten. Rest now, and watch over us all!
