Just back from Washington and the 50th anniversary of out White House Fellows class that Bruce and Inta looked after. Lots of good memories with lots of blanks filled in over the years due to their tutelage. Continue to march. John and Myrna Borling

Dear Peter and Family,
Our deepest sympathies for the loss of your parents.
Bruce and Inta were guides and friends for my wife Darlene and me during our wonderful White House Fellows year of 1975-76.
We kept in touch afterward, mostly through the exchange of Christmas notes. I was always amazed by the range and exuberance of your parents' activities. We never met; but I felt that I knew you from their description of family life.
We have another connection - Dartmouth. Our oldest son Tom, who was nine when we were in Washington, graduated from Dartmouth in 1988.
We hope the many fond memories of your parents' lives will sustain you during this trying time.

Bruce and Inta were always engaged in bettering their community and country and expanding personal horizons. They shared their zest for life generously and all who were fortunate to be with them came away enriched. The White House Fellows classes under his(their)tutelage benefited greatly and got a life long association to go with that experience. Gone--First Inta, now Bruce, we will miss their primal spirit and friendship. John Borling and Myrna (WHF '74-'75)
