Catherine "Kay" was born in the Bronx and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She was the only child of George Joseph Dockery and Lucy Gertrude Callaghan. Beloved wife of the late Capt. John F. Paul and loving mother to George (Patsy), John (Ellen), Debra Hines, Kevin (Janice). Barbra Paul-Elzer (Peter) and Moyra Paul Trigueiro (Al). Wonderful Grandma to Jeffrey, Eric, Bridget, Molly, John Mathew, Elizabeth, John Kevin, Joseph, Christopher and Anthony. Great Grandmother to Casey, Colby and Kevin.Catherine felt very blessed throughout her life as a sister in SSND, Baltimore, an active, devoted member of St. Gabriel's, a bank teller of B of A, a receptionist for Dr. Maki and as a volunteer on the SS Jeremiah O'Brien. But her true and simple joy was her husband of 55 years "Jack", her family and her home. She loved her family and her friends, She loved her faith. Unlike any other, she will be forever missed.
Family and Friends may call after 6:30pm Friday at St. Gabriel Church where the vigil service will be at 7:00pm and are invited to the funeral Mass Sat. 11:00am at the church. Private family committal.

We will miss Kay so much. She was an amazing employee who loved her job and became a wonderful friend to us. We will never forget her warmth, sense of humor, excellent memory, and quick wit. She was one of a kind.

Kay had a huge spirit that lives on in anyone who met her. If you met Kay, you never forgot her. Fun, funny, loving, smart, generous and spirited were just a few of her traits. Dearest Family of Kay, I met your mom with my mom at the BofA, and then again at PHS. Every time she met me she introduced me from her banking days with my mom! I loved her and enjoyed our every meeting. I am very sorry for your loss.
