I love and miss you so much.I loved it when you were in Woodside and I had my Doctors Appointment every month or two.I would come to visit after my Doctors appointment in Santa Clara. We would go down the road to Bucks for dinner and you and Aunt Adele would have your hot fudge sundae after a hugh meal. You both said there's always room for ice cream. Then the two of you told me about when you were stationed in florida shortly after you had been married. You would go across the street every night to share a Hot fudge sundae. What a wonderful loving couple you were. I miss those days I really looked forward to our visits. Dad and Mom always said that you thought of me more like a daughter. I am so proud to say that I had the two best fathers in the world the "Smith Brothers". I will never forget you. I hope you and Daddy are having a good time with each other no matter where you are. I know that you were very special to him he told me he had two loves in his life and you were one of them. God Bless you for being the wonderful person you were. You were always there when someone needed you. You were and are loved by so many. Tell the whole Family hello and I send my love to all.
With My Love,
Sandy

For over forty years you were the father I never had. Before you passed away I fell in the James river in Missouri. The current took me under and wrapped me on some branches. I managed to escape. The current took me under again. The water was very clear and warm, I never panic. After the current was done with me I got out. You thought me how to swim. You are always in my prayers.

Uncle Chet, you were a great man and will be sorely missed. I'll never forget the time and effort you expended looking for my father and brother when their airplane went missing. Love you, Steven

I worked along with my dad for Uncle Chet for 15 years in the bay area. I also enjoyed going hunting and fishing on many occasions. I also enjoyed talking to him at the many family get togethers over the years. I will greatly miss him.

Dear Aunt Adele,Claudia and Maureen you will miss him everyday and want to call him to tell him something that is important. Then it hits you oh how silly I can't. But it just means that he is still with you even if you can't see him. He was a wonderful man and love by so many. He touched the heart and lives of so many people. Daddy always told me he thought so much of me and I know he did. I would get a phone call out of no where and it was him just checking on me. I loved our talks and can't thank him enough for thinking of me all the time . I will miss him so much but he is and always will be looking out for you especially and his family as we all know he loved his whole family. Now he's with the higher power and I'm sure he's giving them some good advice. I love all of u so much may God be with you through your sorrow. But Uncle Chet wouldn't want u to be sad for so long so lets celebrate the great life he had.
