Chor Ng Yee
June 9, 1922 - November 6, 2012
Chor Ng Yee passed away at the age of 90 with his loving family at his side on November 6, 2012. He was born in Toy San, Canton, China and has resided in the San Francisco Bay Area since his arrival into the United States at the age of 19.
Preceded by his wife, Lorraine, he will be remembered as a kind, loving, hardworking and caring person with a delightful sense of humor. He won people's hearts with his smile. He was a loving father to Jacquie, Maddie (Robert), Lorrie (Kevin) and Norman (Marion); also, a wonderful grandfather to Ashley, Brandon, Ryan and Kelly.
He took great joy in cooking for many family gatherings as well as daily family meals. He truly enjoyed his leisure time using his hands to maintain his home and vehicles. He was our Mr. Fix-It.
He will truly be missed by his family, friends and his "family" at Westborough Royale Assisted Living where he lived for the past seven years. He made many friends there.
Our hearts and love are with him as he begins his journey to reunite with his loving wife, Lorraine. Dad, we miss you but know you are in a better place with Mom. Say "hi" to her for us.
Visitation will be on November 16th from 6-8pm. Funeral Service will be held on November 17th at 2pm at DUGGAN'S SERRA MORTUARY, 500 Westlake Avenue, Daly City. Committal at Hoy Sun Memorial Cemetery in Colma.

Uncle George, I will miss you. I will miss your huge smile whenever I saw you. I can see you and Auntie Lorraine smiling whenever our two families got together. You both will always be in my thoughts and memories. I have fond memories of you two.

Growing up, we lived a block away from the Yee's. Our families shared many happy memories together. The Sunday after Thanksgiving it was jook at Uncle George's house. The many times we came over for yummy chowmein. Thank you Uncle George for teaching me how to cook wonderful dishes. Give Auntie a BIG huge from us

The Vellas and the Yees have been close in proximity and friendship for over 50 years. Wonderful man with a great smile who taught me how to love Chinese food because he was such a great cook. Growing up, I spent many a nite across the street at the Yee house trying his tasty dishes. Rest in peace...you are missed
