Christopher John Connell

CONNELL, Christopher John - 41, of San Leandro, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 14, 2005. Loving husband of Margaret Connell; devoted father to Elizabeth, William and David Connell. Born March 6, 1964 in Flushing N.Y., and raised in Westminster, CO. The first child of the late Frank and Dolores Connell. Big brother and mentor to Amy McManus, Claudia Connell and Jenny Rasmussen of Colorado. Law school brought Chris to California. He graduated from McGeorge School of Law in 1989. In 1991 he met the love of his life, Margaret, on a blind date. They were married in 1992. Chris was a devoted family man. He will truly be missed by his young family. He had a kind heart that touched the lives of many. Chris was a Senior Litigation Attorney for the Law Firm of Bustamante, O'Hara and Gagliasso in San Jose. He was a member of the California State Bar. Chris loyally represented many clients in Northern California. He was well respected by his peers and the judiciary. Also a member of the YMI #8, the Dominican Guild and an active parishioner of St. Felicitas Church. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Monday, June 20, 2005 from 5 to 7pm, followed by a funeral mass at 7 pm said at St. Felicitas Catholic Church, 1662 Manor Blvd., San Leandro. On Tuesday all are invited for a final farewell at 10:30 a.m. with the funeral procession leaving St. Felicitas Church to Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward.
