Iris “Colleen” (Reeves) Frizzell was born on February 10, 1943, to W.J. “Dub” and Ione Louise (Luck) Reeves in Amarillo, Texas. She passed away peacefully on October 6, 2025, in Oklahoma City.
Colleen grew up in Hereford, Texas, and lived a life as spirited and unforgettable as she was. She married George in 1962 and later shared many happy years with her second husband, Phillip. Known for her feisty spirit and Little Johnny and Dancing Eagle stories. Colleen was full of life and love. She once raised raccoons just for the joy of it and, as a testament to her love of animals, took care of 20 puppies at once when her cocker spaniel and great dane both had litters. Tough, graceful, and kind, she faced life’s hardships with courage and humor. Colleen was a force to be reckoned with, and those who knew her will remember her strength, warmth, and vibrant spirit always.
She is preceded in death by her parents; first husband George Scott; second husband Phillip Frizzell; and sister Debra Scott.
She is survived by her children Dane and spouse Kim Scott of Newcastle, Lezley Stevens and Vince Green of Blanchard, Todd and Ann Frizzell of Mustang, Greg Frizzell of Mustang; grandchildren Chase Stevens, Chance Stevens, Brittany Hey, Colten Scott, Clayton Frizzell, Chaslynn Waters, and Zachary Boland; numerous great grandchildren and other loved ones.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, October 16, 2025, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.

I will never forget when Colleen came in with Lezley brought in the twin boys as a newborn and after I got through weighting them and talking about newborn information, Colleen stood up and said ok sounds good and I said no you still need to see the Dr and she said really you have told us everything we need to know!
I also remember her coming in through the years and telling me about her RV travels with her grandkids! She had a wonderful personality and loved her grandkids! God bless all the family and Lezley I am sorry for your loss and Dane’s! Kim
