Cornelius O'Leary Obituary

Cornelius Joseph O'Leary entered into eternal rest on January 1st, 2026. Con was born in Cullen, County Cork, Ireland. He immigrated to San Francisco in 1960. Con met his wife Mary Coleman at Old Saint Mary's Church in San Francisco. They married in 1971 and moved to Daly City where they raised their four sons Colman, Cornelius, Michael and Martin. He was prededed in death by his brothers, Flor and Brendan O'Leary. He is survived by his wife Mary, sister Joan, his four sons, and his eight adorable grandchildren Sadie, Charlotte, Elle, Jackson, Ethan, Quinn, Noah, and Maximus. Con worked in San Francisco for the St. Anthony Messenger for over 40 years and worked as a bus driver for the San Francisco Municipal Railway for 24 years. He was a member of the Rebel Cork Benevolent Association and the United Irish Cultural Center. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, January 16, 2026 at 10 AM at Saint Brendan's Church, 29 Rockaway Avenue, San Francisco. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
