Cynthia Meyer Grubb
September 20,1932 - December 22, 2020
Cynthia Meyer Grubb was born in NJ. In 1954, she graduated from Oberlin College with a BA in French Literature, and a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Cornell University. In 1955, She began teaching in Palo Alto, CA, and in 1967, married Ted Grubb, moving to San Francisco. She began work as assistant librarian at Schools of the Sacred Heart in 1983. She was an active member of Save the Redwoods League, Calvary Presbyterian Church, and Oberlin Alumni. Cynthia enjoyed traveling, painting, quilting, walking with friends, and intellectual pursuits. She is survived by daughter, Deborah Grubb Moskovitz, son-in-law, Bob Moskovitz, granddaughters, Renee and Hana Moskovitz, brothers, James and Thomas Meyer, sister-in-law Elizabeth Lampen, and five nieces and nephews, and their children.
