Dear Dorothy and family,

I'm not sure if you remember me, but I worked at ICE/SAIC and my kids went to school there too. I've known your family for a lot of years.... Please accept my heartfelt condolences.... My heart and prayers goes out to all of you... I pray that the love of all the family and friends around you keep you strong through the days ahead. I know they aren't going to be easy, so just take it one day at a time...

I remember Damien when he was a little guy.... He was such a sweetie... One of my earliest memories of him is one Halloween he was Elmo and my daughter was the Cookie Monster and we met up walking around the neighborhood and ended up walking around for a little while together. Everyone thought they were so cute because they were only about 2-3 years old... Another memory that makes me smile is one from when he was in Kindergarten. I was coming back from my lunch time after the kids had their lunch and were all back in their classrooms. I came through the front door of the school and what do I see?? Damien and 3 other boys all sitting there.... I guess they thought that painting each other was a good idea.... :) It was hard not to laugh at the looks on their faces when I asked them what happen.... But I guess it was one of those "Boys will be boys" moments....

Rest Forever in Paradise Damien... You will always be remembered fondly and you will always be loved and never forgotten.

Much love always,
Chachi Mesta
