I know it has 10yrs. I remember Darren very well when he was at Serra HS. He was just in front of me at home room. Loved him ! Just looked him up and very sad of his passing. I remember him very fondly. RIP Darren ! Will always be in my heart !

Dear Ginger,
It was sad news to hear from Loretta that one of the "Georgetown kids" has passed away. We remember Darren as a kindhearted person with a wonderful sense of humor and a happy, outgoing personality. Darren and Cary were both so wonderful to Steven and Amy and were my go-to babysitters and lifesavers. I wish you a glad heart knowing that Darren is at peace and in the care of his creator. God bless you all.
Sincerely,
Linda McCulley, Amy and Steven Bowser

My thoughts of Darren are of a courageous young man, battling for his life. What a wonderful laugh, infectious, proud of his family. I have good memories of conversations with him.

I had the great privilege of knowing Darren through several chapters of his life. There was a time when Darren was a regular fixture in my home. The energy, laughter and heart that he would bring to any situation were palpable. Our group of that time would boat, ski, fish and yes he did indeed Bungee Jump in New Zealand! To know Darren was to love him. He will live on for me in the many, many memories I will cherish always.

Darnito, you were our family. In memory of you as our family, I will smile when I remember our backgammon games "winner gets all" bets, the "row sham bow" bets, 'first one there gets the prize' challenges; the hilarious sneak-ins into the drive-in movies, just to name a few of all our camping trips and picnics we had, and mostly all the spectacular dinners we shared as family. Those were fun times. I will miss your energy. Love Silvia (Perez) Seyve

My thoughts and prayers are with all who knew Darren D. I met Darren twice during very hard times for him in Calistoga. Once in November and again in January. He loved his children so much and was really trying to find his place in life, find peace within himself. I loved his fresh starched shirts and the fact that he had a pedicure with very lively toenails. His smile was contageous, but the sadness was still in his eyes. I wish I could have said the right thing, done the right thing to end his pain but that was not to be. I am so sorry for your loss as are all who knew him in Calistoga. May he rest in peace and with his higher power.

I want to express my deepest sympathies to Darren's family. I will always treasure the memories I have of him. May the memories hold you through and know that there are many people praying for you.
