David Davies and Jack Weeden were the most enthusiastic and successful gardeners with whom I worked. I loved to visit those beautiful men in their gardens.

I salute David Davies for his green thumb and great efforts, with Jack, in the greening and preservation of Telegraph Hill for all to enjoy. He was a beautiful man that I am lucky to have known.

It was a sad time to hear the passing of a true gentleman and wonderful friend. He is sadly missed by all his friends in England, Tony, Ralph, Billy and Mickey. Rest in peace until we meet in another life beyond.
