Dr. Haskin was like a second father to me, as a child. Very early in life I had TB and Dr. Haskin and my grandmother, who raised me, cured me and went on to be my doctor for the rest of my childhood. I remember many nights when I was very very sick, my grandmother would have to take me to the hospital. She would call Doctor Haskin and then the taxi. We would arrive well into the night and he would be there to meet us. He was the best Doctor I have ever had. That was the early 1960´s. Thank you, Doctor! RIP

I was so sad to hear of Dr. Haskin's passing. I am 36 yrs old and I was a patient of his. When I was pregnant with my first child, he made sure to tell me that he would be my child's Dr. I am so blessed that he was both of my children's Dr. Even when I moved to Fairfield, I still brought them to him. He was a wonderful Dr. who took the time with his patients and if I called him at midnight, (which I did a few times)he would always take my call and make me feel better. I always knew if one of my children were sick, to call him at 7:30 am and he would tell me what to do! He was the best and he will be deeply missed. My sympathy to the faimly.

I was one of Dr. Haskins many patients beginning in 1966. As I became a mother I thought of him often. My faher was Herb Tesler he was chief of X-ray at St. Lukes Hospital. He died July 6, 2004. My mom was Mary DiVencenzo Tesler a teacher at St Lukes School of Nusing she died March 5, 2005. My parents high,y respected Dr. Haskin. We were truly blessed to have been a part of his life. I only wish my children could have a Doctor like him. My Aunt called me to let me know of Drs passing. She is Dr. Tessie Sarinas another Peditrician from St. Lukes than Kaiser. I am very sorry for your families loss. It truly is a loss. He was one of a kind. Respectfully Cathy Tesler Thompson
