David passed away unexpectedly at his home in S.F. He was born and raised in Oklahoma and is survived by a brother John and his wife and family there.
His many friends, neighbors and former Transamerica Corp. colleagues are welcome to join a celebration of his life on Wed. July 14th, 3-5 p.m. at Duggan's Funeral Service 3434 17th St., S.F. 94110

I just learned of David´s passing., and am saddened and kind of shocked at the news. Dave and I had been friends for about 20 yrs, he was my boss at Transamerica. He was so much more than a boss though; he was one of my closest friends. I will always remember how much fun we had at work, and when I left TA in 1997, we remained close for years. Sadly, we lost touch with each other, something I´ll always regret.
David was a warm, funny, compassionate, caring and loving person, a true friend, one I´ve never had since.
I´m so sorry to John and family for this loss, David was one of a kind.
I´m sorry David- I love you and will always regret not staying in touch.
