Denis O'Mahony Obituary

Denis O'Mahony passed away peacefully at home on April 13th., 2024 of a chronic illness. He was born in County Limerick, Ireland on December 29, 1937. He leaves behind his loving wife Margaret (Peggy) of 58 years, daughter Joan Marie, sons Michael (Sheilah), Dennis (Nancy) also missed by five grandchildren (Sean, Matthew, Bailey, Colin and Taylor), family in Ireland and Australia. He was an army veteran and a member of the American Legion post 505.
Family and friends are welcome to the visitation at Duggan's Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Ave., Daly City on Saturday, April 20 at 1pm followed by a parlor service at 2pm with military honors.

It was with great sadness that I heard of Uncle Denis's death. I remember fondly staying with you all in the summer of 1986 in San Francisco. Also on his last visit to Ireland where he visited us in Killumney & we went for a lovely evening in Kinsale.
He was a gentleman, very generous & good fun with a bit of devilment thrown in for good measure.
It is poignant that my father Aidan was so insistent that Denis be mentioned in Aidan's own death notice, only for Denis to follow him exactly a month later.
I'll be watching your ceremonies from afar on Saturday, but will be thinking of you all. Deepest condolences to Peggy, Joan, DJ, Michael & your families.
