Dennis Philipie Obituary
Dennis Patrick Philipie, age 74; A Legend In His Own Time.
Dennis rode into this world on October 23, 1947 and never stopped riding. He was the love of Carol Fahey's life. Born to the late Marie and William Philipie; brother to Steve, Lynne Cafferata, Bruce, Janis Brunori, Sharon, Mark, Suzy (deceased), and Steve Tompkins.; Uncle Dennis to many, Uncle Ducky to one, and Old MacDonald to a few.
A smile on his face, a twinkle in his eye, and a joke on his lips were his trademark. His sense of humor was unsurpassed.
Dennis had a passion for motorcycles, hot rods, classic cars, drag racing, and car shows. He held his car club, Laf-A-Lots in high esteem, as well as his club brothers.
Dennis loved getting the wind in his face. Enjoy the ride; you will truly be missed.
Friends may visit on Friday, January 28, 2022 from 10:00am-12:00pm at Duggan's Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Avenue, Daly City, CA. Procession to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma. Bring your best ride. A celebration will be held at a later date.
Donations may be made to Guide Dogs for the Blind, 350 Los Ranchitos Road, San Rafael, CA 94903, or to SF SPCA.

Dennis was "one in a million!" He always had a story to share. He could tell it like no other. A true Irish story teller! There wasn't a place he entered that didn't end up filled with laughter and good times. Dennis will be missed by so many each and every day. But he will continue to live on in the stories we share and the memories we hold dear to our hearts. Gone too soon ... but never forgotten. Cheers to a life well lived and loved, Dennis! Until we meet again!
