Diane Krol Obituary
March 22, 1943 - January 20, 2023
On 1/20/23, Diane Elizabeth Krol entered into rest, surrounded by her family. She is survived by her children Matt (Christine), Christopher (Kimberly), Julie, and Brian (Danielle). Grandchildren: Brett, Kayla, Matthew Jr, Aubrey, Gavin, Caroline, Lucy, Kyle, Bentley, Callie, and Eloise. Sisters Susan and Barbara DeCesare; and Steve (Sherry) Krol and the entire extended family from Philly.
Diane joins her parents Tom and Lucy DeCesare and the love of her life John. Born and raised in the city, Diane graduated from Polytechnic High in '61. Diane worked for a travel agency and later at El Camino and South San Francisco High School.
Diane settled in South San Francisco, living there for over 50 years. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, watching her grandkids grow and developed lifelong friendships over the years.

I met Diane in 1992 when she became part of the Italian Exchange Program. We successfully took students to Italy. Then she became a good friend and we traveled back to Italy, three more times. We, also, traveled to Maui two times (recently June 2022). She was a true friend. She was sincere, generous, determined and trust worthy. She will be missed but I feel blessed to have such special memories.
