Sorry to hear about Dino's passing. Many years ago, Dino was one of my Basketball coaches at the Salesian Boys Club. He was a very dedicated coach and very successful coach. RIP.

Uncle Dino we will miss you ! We will forever hold many wonderful memories in our hearts. From holidays, San Francisco 49er games and times we sent on the boat in Oroville he made everything better. We were blessed to have such a wonderful uncle. We will love you and miss you always .

Uncle Dino was the best, kind, energetic, and very outspoken but had a heart as big as the world. Our childhood and adult life memories will be in our thoughts forever. He was bigger than life and we will miss his dynamic voice although we can still hear him. May you rest in peace with the Lord, Uncle Dino! We´ll always love you. Dave and Michele Garibaldi

Today, 1/18/25, I am saddened to read that my mentor at the San Francisco Post Office, Dino Del Grande, has passed away. In 1971, at age 23, I was newly assigned as a Letter Carrier to the San Francisco Visitacion Station. I entered as one of the youngest members among the station's group of carriers. Dino was an absolutely lovable member of the group. His charm was immeasurable. He made me feel welcome among the 25 or so seasoned members of the our mailmen team. He also endeared himself to all the patrons to whom he delivered mail. On days when I would fill in and carry his route on his day off, many patrons would ask: "Where's Dino?". It's been more than 50 years since I first met Mr. Del Grande and my fond memory of him will continue to the day he and I meet again. May he rest in Peace, and may God Bless his family. I thank God for the privilege of knowing him. -Ron Stillian USPS retired 2002, with 37 years service.
