Dolores, a native San Franciscan, born to Alvar and Edna Frankson on November 12, 1929 and lived on Goat Hill until she married the love of her life, Ray Mode. They were married 65 years until his passing.
She was known for: baking from "scratch" delicious cakes and cookies enjoyed by all, a forever fan of Frank Sinatra whom she saw in person at the Golden Gate Theater in 1946, fan of the SF Giant's, travels with Ray and her love of the Mode Abode in Tahoe was always her happy place.
She was a devoted Lutheran and member of Bethel Lutheran Church for over 50 years.
She leaves behind her two loving daughters, Irene (Gary) Lavaysse and Diane Mode Smith, her grandsons Mark and Scott Lavaysse, great-granddaughter Marley Lavaysse, brother Elroy Frankson and niece Suzanne (Matt) Medrano and all of her dear friends.
Thanks to Bridge Hospice (John), the staffs of Extended Care and Cogir of Sonoma. Private family service to be held at Olivet Cemetery. Donations can be made to your favorite charities.

Our deepest sympathies to Dee's family at this difficult time. We recall she enjoyed an occasional & well made Manhattan when relaxing at the Mode Abode. We assume an accomplished mixologist will be to her avail in heaven.
