Don Quan Lim 11/1/1923 - 11/9/2010 Resident of Hawaii. Celebrated his 87th bday w family in SF the day the Giants won the World Series. Proud US vet of WWII. Preceded in death by step-brother Harry Lim. Survived by Lila, wife of 62 yrs, son Don Jr. (Mimi) daughter Julie (Kurt Chun), grandsons Nicholas Lim, Scott and Alex Chun. Also survived by brother Howard (Nell). Full obituary at www.cypresslawn.com. Services/interment Friday, Nov 19, 11am at Cypress Lawn, 1370 El Camino Real, Colma, CA.

Don was a valued colleague and a dependable 'go-to' guy during his career with the San Francisco Bureau of Building Inspection. Always enjoyed working with him. Rest in peace.

i did not know anyone else could have my same name, my name is lila lim from gilberts il. And to lila whom I do not know, I am sorry for your loss, All I can do is pray that the God I serve will give you grace for the days ahead, take it one day at a time and I hope my prayers find their way to you and yours. Dear Lila & Family, Sorry I wasn't able to be with you on Friday. I thought of Don Each time I passed your Condo, sometimes twice a day. We have wonderful memories of the times we had together. Rest in Peace Don. With Love, Pat Chin & Family
