Donald Sanfilippo Obituary
An avid lover of classic rock music, mid-century American cars and all four-legged creatures, Donny was never without a smile or a compliment for a friend or loved one. He will be remembered for his keen & witty observations, unflagging humor and endless capacity for love. Despite personal struggles, he never stopped believing that everything would turn out all right.
Friends and Family are invited to attend a Memorial Celebration to remember Donny and to share memories on June 22 at 1:30 at the Coyote Point Yacht Club, 1820 Coyote Pt. Drive, San Mateo.

This is so sad! I'm just about to turn 44, Donny and I were about the same age. Our parents used to hang out when we were growing up and I used to play with Donny, Michelle, and Gina. Michelle always acted in charge of Donny, he wouldn't ever listen to her from what I can recall lol. I have sooo many good memories of climbing into the treehouse with Donny, him pushing me down a creek lol swimming, and so many other good times! I secretly had a crush on him when I was little, I couldn't wait to see the curly haired friend that Donny was to me. What a handsome man he became! We all grew up, grew apart and our families were both broken. I had my share of demons to fight and God only knows why I'm still here! May Tommy, Karen, Gina, and Michelle know that he is finally at peace. And may God comfort you all during this very sad time. Warm felt prayers and sympathies. God Bless you all.

I light this candle in the memory of this precious baby and boy I knew. As a child, Donny was very special; so happy and full of energy. I am so very sorry that his the life that has been lost at such an early age; for a father his children will not have to share the joy of his essence.
