Donald Scott Templeton, 51, of Los Gatos, passed away on June 12, 2014, at Stanford Hospital, after a courageous battle against AML (acute myeloid leukemia). He touched many lives with his 'can do' attitude and positive outlook on life. Don's love of life shined through in his many activities, including mountain biking, skiing, wind-surfing, watching and playing hockey and spending time with his family. His was a life cut way too short but lived as completely as any of us could hope for.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

Thank you for this opportunity to remember my friend Don. The picture on the invite brought back vivid memories of Don's bright smile and energetic style at work. I worked for Don at Peribit Networks and those are memorable days for me and always will be. Sending blessings and best wishes to Don's family.

I was very shocked and saddened to hear of Don's passing. I met Don during my first high-tech job way back in 1996 when Bay Networks purchased Armon. He was always willing to share his knowledge and just sit down for a talk. I know he will be missed by all of his family and friends.

We just heard about Don's passing. Although it has been many years since we've seen Don, we are his cousin's on his Mother's side. We have many fond memories at Aunt Pat and Uncle Hal's with the Don and the boys. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the family during this sad time and always.
Love and Prayers,
The Merrill's -Pam, Pat, Steve, Denise, Kris, Keith and families

My father called today July 6 and told me of dons passing.
How tragic life can be, I sat down by the Kuskokwim river and thought of the days that don and I had spent skiing over the years. In Montana and telluride Colorado .
The star that burns twice as bright sometimes burns half as long my friend.
I cried for the shortness of your life today , but I also know in my heart that your life was full and the days you had were good and you lived them well.
Aloha my friend
