Dorothy Julieann Jasinski

June 20, 1934 - July 21, 2015

At 81, our sweet gentle angel passed away peacefully surrounded by the family she lived for. Beloved wife of Francis Jasinski (62 years), devoted mother of Nina Kelly (Michael), Deborah Carey (Thomas) and Floyd Jasinski (Toni). Dorothy cherished her 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Sister to Jerry Donovan (Joanne). Loving aunt to Edward and Randy Fry, and Laurie, John and Julie (Donovan). A San Francisco native, graduate of St. Agnes School and Presentation High (Â'53). Active in the Polish Club of SF. A St. Anne's and St. Stephen's parishioner where she lead Girl Scouts and taught Religious Education. Relocating to Rocklin 16 years ago blessed her with newfound friends at SS Peter & Paul Parish and the Polish Club of Roseville. Dorothy enjoyed singing with the Whitney Oaks "Springtones." She loved a good game of Scrabble! Her ready smile, positive spirit, and unconditional love will be missed by all.

Friends are invited for visitation at DUGGAN'S SERRA MORTUARY, 500 Westlake Avenue, Daly City, Monday, July 27th from 4pm. A Vigil Service begins at 7pm. Nina, Debbie, Floyd and family -

I will keep Dorothy in my heart. She has always been an angel!

Sixteen years ago the first neighbor I met at Springfield was Dorothy. My husband and I had just moved in to our new house and I saw her sitting outside across the street, so I went over to say hi. (Frank was inside doing a walk through with the builder- which took a while!) We were friends ever after.

Dorothy was the strongest and most giving woman I know. She was always cheerful and saw the best in everyone. She was as independent as possible, and it was amazing all that she accomplished. She appreciated each moment and all things to the fullest. She was a delight to all who knew her.

I feel blessed that she and I were friends.
