Doug Magee was my client for 35 years. He was a war hero with the RCAF. While I was sleeping in an air raid shelter, Doug was based just 25 miles away, flying bombers over the North Sea. He was the most pleasant person to deal with, I always enjoyed our meetings and admired his superb integrity. I bought his car in 2010 and treasure driving it today. We shared a few things in common, I lived in Canada for 6 years, my English wife taught at McGill, I played rugby against McGill I would like to have known him better. After he died, I became trustee of his estate and got to know his kids. He was a great parent.
