Evelyn Louise Crawford

Evelyn Louise Crawford Passed away quietly at Marin General Hospital on November 21, 2006 at the age of 85. Born in San Francisco to the late Maurice and Sarah Salomon, Evelyn is sister of the late Maurice (Lillian) Salomon; wife of the late Syd Rosener and late Tommy Crawford; mother of Maurice "Topper" (Bridget) Rosener, Sydney Rosener and Sarah (Bill) Dougherty; grandmother of Scott (Ruby) Rosener, Chris (Tina) Rosener, Sean Dougherty, Colin Dougherty and Emily Angeleri; great-grandmother of Hannah, Nathan and Lily Rosener. Evelyn was educated at Convent of the Sacred Heart and Dominican College. She was a voracious reader who enjoyed playing bridge, doing the daily puzzle, watching (and answering the questions on) Jeopardy and traveling the world with her brother Maurice and his golf club members. She was mentally sharp and loved a great argument. Her opinions were strong and she let them be known by all who were around her. There was never a dull moment when Evie was around. She gave her family and caregivers a run for their money. Evelyn resided at Pine Ridge Care Center for the last years of her life. She is finally at peace.
