UNTIL NEXT TIME
Peacefully she slept in her chair. Willingly she allowed His hand to take hers.
Shackles were lifted. Health was restored. There may have even been an extra bounce in her step
as her spirit began to make its journey homeward.
As they proceeded, she looked up to the face of our Savior, Jesus, and said, Merciful One, before we go to the mansion my Father has prepared for me, can I glance back for a moment to see,
those who have l have left behind?
Not to say goodbye, but instead, to say UNTIL NEXT TIME when their spirit will flow upward
to join mine.
Looking on His faithful servant with a smile, He knew he couldn't deny the request
from one such as this. Standing by her side, He granted her last earthly wish.
Busy at work, play and other things of this world we didn't even notice that she has slip from time into eternity. No, we didn't notice as we went on with life at our usual fast but steady pace.
With a sigh and a nod to Jesus, took her hand and escorted her to the celebration that was in full swing up yonder. It was a glorious and wondrous occasion taking place in her honor.
Familiar and friendly voices greeted her at the door where she paused for a moment before entering in.
She gazed around the room slowly, but purposefully, until her eyes rested on the Father, who, with outstretched arms bellowed, "Welcome Home Daughter".
I’m sorry mom that we couldn’t get it right on this side of heaven,
BUT WAIT UNTIL NEXT TIME…
Your Son,
