Francesca Finocchiaro

Francesca Finocchiaro Dec. 3, 1926 - July 31, 2011 Francesca Finocchiaro is survived by her son Anthony, of San Bruno California, his wife Lillian and their children, Domenic and Angela Finocchiaro. She was preceded in death by her son, Salvatore and by her husband of 34 years Domenico Finocchiaro. Also preceded in death by her parents Salvatore and Francesca DiFranco & six siblings Frank, Domenico, Joseph & Josephina DiFranco and Santina Scotto. Born in Augusta, Sicily. A member of the Sociata Di San Domenico and the Italian American Women's Guild. Her two grandchildren brought her so much joy and love to whom she loved cooking pasta, cookies and french fries for. Her favorite time was when she was surrounded by family and friends where she was able to share her love for cooking. Many enjoyed her Italian dishes. Nonna's cookies will be missed by all. Friends are invited to attend a Vigil at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at Sneider & Sullivan & O'Connell's Funeral Home, 977 So. El Camino Real in San Mateo. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 4, 2011 at St. Robert's Catholic Church, 1380 Crystal Springs Road in San Bruno with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma to follow. Donations in Francesca's memory may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Association.
