Frank Franz Obituary

Frankie was killed instantly in Oakland on July 21 due to a gunshot wound.

His charisma and sense of humor drew people to him. His personality, intelligence and curiosity made for enjoyable conversations on either side of the bay. He had a love affair with San Francisco. When you think of Frankie you smile.

From God we come and to him we return. No one is ever ready for this fact of life called Death..but we all have a date. I am speaking from the hearts of all of us at Camp Wilmont Sweeney who had the pleasure of spending a big part of 2014 with Frank! I was at his Graduation!! I have many many memories of a bright, smart, funny and mannerable young man. We will always remember and cherish your Son, your Brother, your nephew, your Grandson and your Friend!!! I understand why God would want him back and I thank him for letting our paths cross! I'll continue praying for you all!!! Love you

All of our family is devastated by this tragic loss. We keep waiting for Frankie to walk through the door. He will be remembered for his winning personality. His peers and many adults loved him. Besides his own mother he called two of his best friends mothers mom. The hole in my heart will take a long time to recover from this loss. Know that you are loved Frankie, always and forever.... Frankie played baseball with our son in Patterson! He spent many evenings and dinners with us. He was one of the sweetest, kindest, most well-mannered young man that we had the pleasure of knowing! He had such a good sense of humor and would keep us laughing for hours. Rest in peace you precious young man! We are heartbroken.
