Frank Faulkner Robbins

Died August 27th at age 94. Beloved 1st child of Frank Thomas Robbins and Genevieve Edith Faulkner, educated at the University of Oregon where he met his future wife the late Mary Ross Kingston, married in December 1947; mother of the late Frank Faulkner Robbins Jr. in 1949 and John J. Robbins in 1951; grandfather of Ross (1980), Aurora (1980), Nathan (1982), Jeremiah (1986), and Kristen Robbins (1994), great grandfather of Jordan Kaylee Robbins (2003). Frank Robbins was a member of "The Greatest Generation". He supported his parents and sister during the Great Depression; enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1938, served in the World War II Naval Campaigns of Guadalcanal, North Africa, Sicily, Gilbert Islands, and Iwo Jima; Twice recalled to Active Duty, Korea (1950) and Commanding Officer USS LAWS (DD-558) for the "Berlin Crisis" (1962), he retired from the U.S. Navy Reserve in 1980. He retired from Lockheed Missiles and Space Company in 1987. At deceased's request, private Memorial Mass, Ceremony and Interment at Holy Cross.
