Frank Williams Obituary

Frank Williams
11/08/1942 - 07/24/2025
Frank Joseph Williams, a resident of Burlingame for over 50 years, passed away peacefully on July 24th. Born in San Francisco, Frank was the only child of Alma (née Brynjolfsson) and Frank Williams Sr. He spent his early years in Colma and Noe Valley, graduating from Mission High School.
Frank was a proud member of the Machinists Union Local 1546 for over 40 years. A passionate hot rod and off-road motorcycle enthusiast, he was happiest restoring his classic '46 and '34 Fords. Married to a travel agent, he visited many far-flung destinations like India, Africa, Thailand and Singapore. Frank was a long-time member of St. Catherine's parish who loved spending time in his garage and playing golf with his sons and friends.
A devoted family man, Frank is now reunited with his beloved son, Jeffrey. He is survived by Elsie, his loving wife of 63 years; daughter, Lorrie Paliani (Timothy); son, Gary (Rosemary); grandchildren, Vanessa Ashby (Grant) and Niall Williams; great-grandson, Miles Ashby, and a great-granddaughter who is expected any day.
Frank's legacy of warmth, generosity, kindness, and meticulous craftsmanship lives on in the hearts of all who knew him. He is deeply missed.
There will be a memorial service at St. Catherine's Church in Burlingame on Saturday, August 16th at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to St. Vincent de Paul or the charity of your choice.
