We would like to thank everyone who sent their kind wishes and stories, and also to those of that attended the day we had for Dad. We will always miss him- his playfulness and care, and always celebrate his memory. George Chew, you were a good man and a great father. Rest in peace.

Uncle George was a wonderful, kind and humorous man. It was nice when we visited him and your mom and they would tell of the old days with my dad and mom in SF, and we always remembered how my dad told of how your father helped them out when they came to America. He will be truly missed by all.

We'll always remember "Uncle George" and how he was Dad's closest friend during WWII and afterwards. Though we were separated by distance, he was always family to us. Dad told us so many stories of their times together, and I know that George Chew held a very special place in his heart. He named his first-born son, myself, after him. Knowing what my Dad thought of Uncle George, I can think of no higher honor.
