I worked only briefly with George when I first joined the SFFD in 1966. I think it was Truck 16. I did not know him well but I remember him as a good officer and a gentleman.

Dorothy was my cousin and god-mother, and you were my cousin and I always considered you my god-father. Your laugh was deep and true, your character honest and real. I will always remember us talking while you watered the flowers outside your complex. I love you Don, and will miss you...
