I met Gert over 60 years ago when I went to work at Southern Pacific. She was a joy to be with in the good times and a comfort in the bad times. Lunch, dinner, dim sum, cruises -- all were more fun when Gert was along. She was dear to me.

My sincere condolences to the Yee family on the sudden passing of Gertrude. She was an active and exhuberant presence in our Square and Circle club. She will be greatly missed.

Our prayers and condolences to the Yee family. Getrude and I began our career together in 1946 at Southern Pacific Railroad. Our friendship continued long after our retirement and we have enjoyed her presence at many of our celebrations, most recently, last July as my husband and I celebrated our 60th wedding anniversary. We will always remember her sense of humor.

To The Yee's Family,
Charlene and I are saddened about Gert's passing. We first met Gert at the Panama Canal cruise on May 2009 and what a warm person she was. She's always gave us a big smile and a fun loving person as well that enjoy life to the fullness. With all respects we express our condolences to her loving family.
