Giuseppe "Joe" Perrone

June 8th, 1939 - December 4th, 2015

Joe passed away at the age of 76 on December 4th, 2015, in his home in Redwood City, Ca. after a long battle with congestive heart failure. He was surrounded by his loving wife of 52 years, Lena Perrone, his sons Nino and Russ Perrone, and his daughter in laws, Debra and Kerri Perrone, and Father Ulysses D'Aquila of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. He is survived by his loving wife Lena Perrone, his two sons, Nino Perrone & Russ Perrone, his daughter in laws, Debra Perrone & Kerri Perrone, and his 4 granddaughters Kristina & Olivia Perrone (Nino) and Serena & Lydia Perrone (Russ).
Joe is also survived by his large loving family of 6 siblings; Pete Perrone (Grace), Rita Infantino (Mimo), Maria Zagarella (Dino), Paulina Papi (Frank), John Perrone (Joanne), Settimo Perrone (Diane), and his Brother in Law Concetto Raiti (Cathy) and 25 dear Nieces and Nephews and many Great-Nieces & Nephews as well. Joe lived a simple but beautiful life. He was born in Sicily, served in the Italian Military for a year, then came to America in 1962. He met his wife Lena in 1963 and married in 1964. He worked as a Carpenter for the Laborers Union for 25 years. He lived and raised his family in Redwood City. Joe was a hard working man, and enjoyed working with his two sons, tending his garden, celebrating with his family and friends at parties and holidays. He loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed many trips with his sons, family and friends. Joe loved to play bocce ball with his team mates at the Red Morton Center in Redwood City for the past 5+ years. Giuseppe "Joe" Perrone will be missed by everyone, he will always be loved and in our hearts and never forgotten! A rosary will be held this Friday, December 11th, 2015 at Crippen & Flynn Woodside Chapel, 400 Woodside Road, Redwood City, Visitation 5:00-9:00pm with a Rosary at 7:00pm. A full mass will be on Saturday, December 12th, at 10:00am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, at the corner of Fulton & Grand Street in Redwood City, Ca. We would like to thank all of you for your love, prayers and support, we are truly grateful, God Bless you all.
