Dear Heidi, Macquarie and family,
I read with great sadness the announcement of Greg’s death; it seemed like just yesterday that we were together on some lacrosse field in Marin, ensuring that young men were participating in the best that we could provide.
I have to confess that I did not know Greg off the field, but his love of lacrosse, his calm professionalism and his gentle spirit were always evident and which I greatly admired.
Please know that I am presently out of the country but will be with you in spirit on the 20th. Regardless, my wish for you is that you will always remember the many good times you shared together and treasure the many gifts he gave to you.
With sincere condolences, Stockton Buck

Greg and I once talked for only about twenty minutes at a lacrosse game I was reffing at and he taught me so much about electric vehicles in that short amount of time. Very motivating man. All the best to his family.

I knew Greg through lacrosse. He was always a great calming presence while refereeing. Always willing to lend a hand and keep things in perspective. Very selfless person who had a great view on life. Wish the family the best in these difficult times. Please know he touched many people in a positive way who you will never even know.

Heidi - Today's service was so moving and touching - what a lovely tribute to Greg. I know that his passing must be so incredibly difficult for you and for Macquarie, and my heart sincerely goes out to both of you.
I first got to experience Greg's amazing spirit when I worked with him at Hot Lunch a few years ago. He is truly one of those people who are "one in a million".
Today, I just loved hearing about his commitment and love for his family, his dedication to solar energy and his passion for lacrosse.
I feel honored to have known him - even in the small capacity that I did. All in all, I really wish I had gotten to know him better - he was an incredible and wonderful person. I hope you can find strength and grace during this time, and I will be praying for you and Macquarie.
With love & friendship, Sarah
