ROMERO, Gumercindo "Jose" - At rest at home in Redwood City, CA. February 14, 2005. Beloved husband of 44 years to Guadalupe Romero of Redwood City; loving father of Javier (Michelle), Ruben (Darcie Jo), Luis (Patty), and Teodoro (Nichole); adored grandfather of Thomas, Adriana, Cristina, Olivia, Alicia, Daniel, Emily, Nicholas, and Sophia; dearest brother of two sisters and one brother. A native of Michoacan, Mexico. Age 77 years. A resident of Redwood City for 39 years. Jose worked as a master carpenter for Kelly-Moore Paints of Redwood City. A loving, hardworking husband, father and grandfather who would help any and all. He will be remembered for his huge heart and strong work ethics who loved dancing and being with his family. Friends are invited to attend a Vigil Service Thursday, February 17, 2005 at 6:30 P.M. with a visitation starting at 5:00 P.M. at REDWOOD CHAPEL, 847 Woodside Rd., Redwood City. Funeral Mass will be said on Friday, February 18, 2005 at 9:30 A.M. at ST. PIUS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1100 Woodside Rd., Redwood City. Interment to follow at Skylawn Memorial Park, San Mateo.
