I have not seen Hannah since she left Montreal and we were school friends, however I was so saddened to learn from the Gazette this morning that she had passed away. I remember a bright beautiful vivacious girl with long black hair and dark eyes. I have many fond memories of her but never knew her as a married woman or mother. I am so proud of all her accomplishments.
Please accept my sincere condolences and may you find some comfort knowing how she touched so many lives, even as a young girl.

Hannah was my therapist for many years, first for myself alone, and then as part of a couple. I loved her like family, because that's how she made me feel - cared for, respected, and challenged to be authentic and responsible. She helped me immensely. I must say I was surprised to see how young she was. To me she seemed wise beyond years. And I don't think I ever properly or sufficiently thanked her.

Our daughter's Hebrew name is Hannah, chosen because of our love and great respect for Hannah 23 years ago. Many wonderful memories of working with her and knowing her are flooding us as we write. She was the most dedicated Rabbi's wife and at the same time completely her own person.
Working with her several years, referring patients who always glowed when describing their experience and therapy with her, personal exchanges we will forever treasure...these are all included in our gifts from Hannah. Michael and family..please know we mourn with you and will miss and speak of her often. Saddened more because we only learned of her passing today and missed our chance to attend services for her. All of our love to you all, Mel and Marilyn Blaustein

Hannah was and will remain a woman of valor and grace. She was dignified, patient, kind, gentle and loving with a keen mind and an open heart.
Her memory will live on in the lives of all who knew her and especially in Michael, Naomi, Daniel, their spouses and the grandchildren she loved so dearly. May she rest in peace and her family be comforted in their grief and loss.
