For those of us who grew up in Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Oakland, the Knapp family was famous, and we felt ourselves fortunate to know them. My prayers are with the family now as they come to terms with their loss.

My sincere condolences to Harry Knapp's family. You'll be in my prayers. I was a student at St. Joseph's in Mt. View and knew Msgr. Richard Knapp--a fellow seminarian at the time. My prayers are with all of you at this time.
