Hilarion Sumalinog Obituary
Hilarion "Larry" Sumalinog, 74, of Menifee, CA, passed away at home on August 22nd, with his children by his side.
Born in Mandaue City, Philippines, Larry went on to graduate from University of San Carlos in Cebu City. He married Maria Lea Sabandal in 1974, and they migrated to Los Angeles the following year. He went onto a full career in the fashion wholesale world. Larry spent his retirement days being goofy, feeding his curiosity, looking for the best version of his favorite foods, and finding the humor in everything. He will forever be remembered for his laughter and easy-going spirit, and his absolute love for anything sweet.
Larry is survived by his children Ray, Claire, and Jennifer; grandchildren, Dominic and Mia; and sister, Violeta.
Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Lea, both parents, and his brother, Arnul.
